However, in the daily supervision and inspection, the regulatory authorities found that some disposable plastic tableware manufacturers did not obtain production access, There is no QS (quality and safety) mark on the product packaging label; in order to reduce the production cost, some plastic tableware manufacturers use industrial grade calcium carbonate, talc powder, paraffin and other raw and auxiliary materials in production, and even use recycled waste plastics for production, which violates the general technical requirements for plastic disposable tableware (national standard for disposable plastic tableware, code: gb18006.1-2009).

Using disposable plastic tableware that does not meet the requirements of national standards will cause potential damage to consumers' health. Therefore, it is very important to pay attention to the safety of disposable plastic tableware and create a good food safety environment. When purchasing disposable plastic tableware, the catering service unit shall strictly implement the procurement inspection and ticket claim system. First, check whether the descriptive labels on the surface of the outer packing box and the packing box are marked with QS signs, and whether the identification contents are complete, which meet the general technical requirements for plastic disposable tableware; Secondly, obtain the production license and product quality inspection certificate from the manufacturer or supplier.

When eating in a restaurant, consumers should order appropriately according to the number of people, try to avoid leftovers and reduce the opportunity to use disposable plastic tableware; Avoid using disposable plastic tableware to store food for a long time, especially food with more oil and water; Do not use the dishes and juice contained in disposable plastic tableware to make rice and soup; Do not heat disposable plastic tableware that can be used in microwave oven without indication or identification; The inferior tableware provided by the catering service unit shall be rejected; Any illegal production, sale and use of disposable plastic tableware that does not meet the national standards shall be reported to the relevant regulatory authorities in time.
