Precautions for the use of plastic products, secrets you don't know

Precautions for the use of plastic products. You don't know the secret. The plastic recycling logo is like the ID card of the plastic container, and the small triangular symbol is generally printed and engraved at the bottom of the plastic container. The numbers in the triangle box range from 1 to 7. Behind each number represents a plastic container of one specification, which has different meanings. Fuhe tells you the secrets of plastic bottles you don't know!

1. Throw it away after drinking

"01" stands for pet (polyethylene terephthalate), which is most commonly used in making bottled drinks such as mineral water and carbonated drinks. It is well known that the beverage bottle made of this material can not hold hot water, but is only suitable for warm or frozen drinks. If it is filled with high-temperature liquid or heated, it is easy to deform and dissolve substances harmful to human body. Scientists also found that this plastic product may release carcinogens after more than 10 months of use. Therefore, it is recommended to throw away the drink bottle and not use it as a water cup or storage container. In order to avoid harm to health, the gains outweigh the losses.

2. It is not recommended to use as a water holding appliance

"02" stands for HDPE (high density polyethylene). Plastic containers containing cleaning products and bath products or plastic bags commonly used in shopping malls are mostly made of this material. It can withstand high temperature of 110 ℃. If it is marked for food, it can be used to contain food. Plastic containers containing cleaning products and bath products can be reused after careful cleaning, but they often leave residues due to poor cleaning, thus becoming a hotbed of bacteria. As mentioned in the post, unlike other beverage bottles, the bottom of nongnongshan spring in 4L is marked 02. Although it looks much stronger than ordinary mineral water bottles, it is not recommended to use it as a water holding appliance. It is likely to produce harmful substances after long-term use.

3. Never let it get hot

"03" stands for PVC (polyvinyl chloride), which is commonly used in raincoats and plastic films. The plastic products made of this material are easy to produce two kinds of toxic and harmful substances: one is the monomolecular vinyl chloride that has not been fully polymerized in the production process, and the other is the harmful substances in the plasticizer. These two substances are easy to precipitate when encountering high temperature and oil. If they accidentally enter the human body, they are easy to cause cancer. Therefore, it is rarely used for food packaging. If you happen to encounter it, do not let it be heated.

4. Hot melt occurs when the temperature exceeds 110 ℃

"04" refers to LDPE (low density polyethylene). It is the raw material of fresh-keeping film and plastic film, and its heat resistance is not strong. The qualified PE fresh-keeping film will melt when the temperature exceeds 110 ℃, leaving some plastic preparations that cannot be decomposed by the human body. If it is wrapped outside the food and heated at the same time, the oil in the food is easier to dissolve the harmful substances in the preservative film.

5. It can be reused after careful cleaning

"05" stands for PP (polypropylene), which is the only material that can be heated in the microwave oven, so it has become the raw material for making microwave lunch boxes. High temperature resistance of 130 ℃, melting point up to 167 ℃, poor transparency, and can be reused after careful cleaning. It should be noted that for some microwave oven lunch boxes, the box body is made of No. 05 PP (polypropylene), but the box cover is made of No. 06 PS (polystyrene). PS has good transparency but is not resistant to high temperature, so it cannot be put into the microwave oven together with the box body. Don't forget to remove the lid before heating the lunch box later.

6. Do not directly heat the instant noodle box in the bowl

"06" is PS (polystyrene), which is used to make bowl instant noodle boxes and foamed fast food boxes. It cannot be used to contain strong acids (such as orange juice) and strong alkaline substances, because it will decompose polystyrene (carcinogen) which is bad for human body. Although it is heat-resistant and cold resistant, it will also release chemicals due to high temperature. Therefore, do not directly heat the bowl of instant noodles box in the microwave oven!

7. Careful use can avoid "bisphenol a"

"07" stands for PC and other types of PC. It is a widely used material. It is mostly used to make milk bottles and space cups. It is controversial because it contains toxic bisphenol A. Theoretically, as long as bisphenol A is 100% converted into plastic structure in the process of making PC, it means that the product has no bisphenol A at all, let alone release it. However, no manufacturer can guarantee that bisphenol A has been completely converted, so attention should be paid to it in the process of use.

The higher the temperature, the more bisphenol A is released and the faster the speed is. If you happen to have a plastic product numbered 07 in your hand, you can avoid it by the following methods: do not heat it when using it, and do not direct it in the sun; Do not use dishwasher and dryer to clean the kettle; Before the first use, wash with baking soda powder and warm water and dry naturally at room temperature; If the container has any fall or damage, stop using it immediately, because if there are fine pits on the surface of plastic products, it is easy to hide bacteria; Avoid repeated use of aged plastic appliances.

Expert advice

In daily life, the repeated use of beverage bottles and mineral water bottles is very common. Many consumers often like to keep their used beverage bottles and mineral water bottles and take them out with tea or drinking water when they go out next time. This is called "environmental protection" and "saving". Experts said that qualified beverage bottles and mineral water bottles are required to be made of food grade plastic, namely PET bottles. These food grade PET bottles cannot withstand high temperature and need to be used at low temperature. Generally, it is safe to use them below 70 ℃. In addition, these plastic bottles are disposable, and the state stipulates that enterprises cannot recycle and refill them.
